I knew I couldn't title this post "Black and White." I wanted to think of something different and that song by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder popped in my head.
Hence the above title.
When I see black and white images in my head, I see one of two things. One being portraits or pics of people. The other being architectural elements. For this post I am focusing on non-living objects. I walked around my house looking for interesting shapes. It took a little patience but I came up with the following...
A finial on the bottom of a small table in my entry. |
The top of my corner china cabinet. |
The back of one of my dining room chairs. |
Shaker peg pitcher. |
The arm of one of the dining room chairs. |
A canister on a high shelf...very close to the ceiling.
Stone urn on my mantel. |
Heirloom crucifix hanging in my hallway. |
While these items aren't technically pieces of architecture, they work well in black and white. A HUGE thank you to Tracy at
Tracy's Trinkets and Treasures for again hosting a photography linky party. Check out her blog for more great black and white pics.
Have a great day!
