Lantern Love

My little kitchen reno has begun.

I had new lights installed and a new faucet.

I looked and looked and then I looked some more

for a lantern to hang over my island.

The problem wasn't finding one, it was finding an affordable one.

I had no shortage of inspiration.

I started to see lanterns everywhere.

They add a bit of character and surprisingly give off plenty of light.

So after all that lovely lantern love...
here is my new light.

After hours and hours of searching

I actually found it at a local hardware store.

I had almost decided on something else.

Some things are just meant to be.
